Arikara
and
Lord Guest
By Dave Lloyd
These two short science fiction novels, put under one cover because of their brevity, were written for fun and the idea of reader enjoyment. They truly reflect the style of Robert Heinlein, the "Dean of Science Fiction", who always wrote of real-life characters in futuristic but plausible settings.
Arikara Tells the story of two American Indian boys who long for a wild, primitive planet such as their forefather lived on, and how they realized their dream by going off-world.
Lord Guest tells of a burned out policeman of the future in search of a quiet vacation by time travel to the past to medieval England, and what he finds there.
